ID SOFTWARE'S ENEMY TERRITORY: QUAKE WARS HONORED AS BEST ONLINE MULTIPLAYER TITLE AT E3 2006

Sydney, Australia – June 7, 2006 – Activision, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI) announced today that id Software’s Enemy Territory™: QUAKE Wars was named Best Online Multiplayer Game by the Game Critics Awards: Best of E3 2006 committee – an independent group of journalists from 37 leading North American media outlets that cover the videogame industry. Furthermore, as one of the most celebrated games of the show, Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars was a finalist for the overall Game of the Show award, and also earned “Best of E3” honours from 15 leading online sites, including GameSpot, GameSpy, IGN and NYTimes.com.
