Call of Duty Championship Australia and New Zealand Qualification Details

Further to the announcement of the Call of Duty Championship in LA on April 5-7th, teams in Australia and New Zealand can enter into a localised qualification system that has been devised specifically for this momentous event. Over March 2-3, the Australian Cyber League (www.aclpro.com.au) will be administering a short series of online qualifiers that progress to a live event final in Sydney, Australia on Friday March 15th. Both Australian & New Zealand Call of Duty: Black Ops II fans will be able to enter the first online qualifier, with seven teams vying for a chance to attend the Australian and New Zealand Call of Duty Final, presented by Activision, Xbox and EB Games.  In addition, a New Zealand only qualifier will see an eighth and final team join other qualifiers, who all earn a trip to compete in Sydney.

At the Sydney final, complete with an Australia vs New Zealand show match, the top two teams will earn the right to battle it out in Hollywood and compete against the best Call of Duty players in the world.  Joining them will be eight winning teams from North America’s MLG Winter Championship, eight teams from the ESL’s European Finals and remaining seats from other international qualifications across Asia and Brazil. Full registration details for the Australian and New Zealand online qualifiers will be released via www.aclpro.com.au Wednesday February 13th.
