Sydney, Australia – 5 February, 2013 – All Interactive Entertainment and Rising Star Games announce that Access Games’ cult classic horror adventure will arrives in Australia and New Zealand for the first time in the reworked Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut.
Set to release in April 2013 exclusively for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut lets fans play as Francis York Morgan as he must solve the mystery of the Red Seed Murders and stay alive in a place where supernatural creatures and a killer seek to end his investigation. The award-winning suspense-horror, action-adventure game gives players an open-world experience featuring detailed interactions with Greenvale locals as well as numerous side quests and mini games to help solve the murders and uncover hidden town secrets.
Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut features enhancements to the original game, including a new scenario from the game’s director SWERY (Hidetaka Suehiro), HD graphics, a reworked control system for combat and DLC to expand the mystery beyond the original plot.
Deadly Premonition was originally released in Japan (as Red Seeds Profile), North America and Europe in 2010 and garnered reviews scores ranging from Destructoid’s 10/10 to IGN US’s 2/10, cementing its entry in the Guinness World Records Gamers Edition as the “Most Critically Polarizing Survival Horror Game.” GameCritics awarded Deadly Premonition its Game of the Year honour for 2010 while GamesRadar named it Best Worst Game and Gamespot named it Most Surprisingly Good Game in their 2010 awards.
